Description
The STC-3028 is a popular digital thermostat that can be used to control the temperature of a variety of appliances, such as incubators, fermentation chambers, and aquariums. It has a wide temperature range of -20°C to 80°C and a high accuracy of ±1°C. The STC-3028 also features a dual display that shows both the current temperature and the set temperature.
The STC-3028 is easy to use and can be programmed with just a few buttons. It has two output modes: heating and cooling. In heating mode, the STC-3028 will turn on a heating device when the temperature falls below the set point. In cooling mode, the STC-3028 will turn on a cooling device when the temperature rises above the set point.
Here’s a guide on how to program the STC-3028 Temperature Controller:
Key Instruction
- increase the value of the start temperature
- decrease the value of the stop temperature
- increase the value of start humidity
- decrease the value of stop humidity
Key Operation Instruction
Temperature setting:
- In normal working status, the left led displays the real-time temperature. Press the key once. Red led display start temperature. Press the key once. Red led display stop temperature.
- Hold the key for 3s. led flash. Press the or to change the start temperature.
- Hold the key for 3s. led flash, press, or change stop temperature.
Humidity setting:
- In normal working status, the right blue screen displays real-time humidity. Press the key once. The Red led display starts humidity. Press the key once. Blue led display stops humidity.
- Hold the key for 3s. led flash, press, or change the start temperature.
- Hold the key for 3s. led flash, press, or change stop temperature.
Operation Instruction
Cooling mode:
When the set start temperature stops temperature, the controller will work in cooling mode. You can use the cooler as a load. For example, set the start temperature to 35 C, and the stop temperature to 32 C. Cooler works when the temperature is 35 C, and Cooler stops when the temperature is 32 C.
Heating mode:
When set start temperature and stop temperature are, the controller will work in heating mode. You can use the heater as a load. For example, set the start temperature to 45 C, and stop the temperature to 60 C. Heater stops when the temperature 60’Cheater works when the temperature 45C.
Dehumidification mode:
When set start humidity stop humidity, the controller will work in dehumidification mode. You can use a dehumidifier as a load. For example, set the start humidity 35%RH, and stop humidity to 156RH. Dehumidifier work when humidity is 35%RH, Dehumiditifier stops when humidity is 15%RH.
Humidification mode:
When set start humidity stop humidity, the controller will work in humidification mode. You can use a humidifier as a load. For example, set the start humidity 45%RH, and stop humidity 60%RH. Humidifier stops when the humidity 60’C and Humidifier works when the humidity 45C.
Reset:
In normal working status, hold and, the two screens will display 888 to reset the controller.
Temperature and Humidity Calibration:
- In normal working status, hold and for 2S to enter calibration mode of temperature. Presslorto value between -30-30
- In normal working status, hold and for 2S to enter calibration mode of humidity. The Press or set a value between -30-30
- For example, the tested temperature display 25C, but the real temperature is 30 C, If we set the value 5, the tested temperature will change to display 30 C(25C+5 C). If we set the value to -5, the tested temperature will change to display 20C(25C-5C).

I’m reviewing the person that wrote the “guide” above.
WHAT. ARE. YOU TALKING ABOUT? ‘SET’ button? Did you look at a unit, or even this page? You put “SET” in quotes signifying there is a button with the word ‘set’ on it. There is not. You mention hitting the up and down arrows that i can’t see as well. What are you describing? Obviously something other than the STC-3028.
