Description
Main composite is something called Ammonium persulfate (or sodium persulfate/peroxydisulfate), with 5% salt or anhydrous cupric sulfate, not fully sure about it.
- No any bad smells that may have from Hydrogen Peroxide H2O2 and ferric trichloride
- The liquid will be slightly blue and almost transparent, a good lucking
- The etching process is fully under observing, you can fully control the timing and precision.
- There will no any dirty spot during cleaning.
- Week acid, no smell, high safety for prototyping!
- Easy to deal with the scrap.
- Mix with 1:4 powder: water ratio, you can etch 10*15cm single sided board 10 – 15 pcs

1. Making solution:
Mix one bag of etching powder with 0.8l of water in plastic container, Use wood, glass or plastic sticker stirring it until all powder disappeared
2. Etching:
Drop the board into the solution until all bare copper etched off, during this process, you can monitor your PCB very easy due to the solution is clear or semi-clear.
Rinse:
Rinse the circuit board in tap water. Ensure that all of the previous solution is cleaned off the board.
Etching time is 5 to 10 minutes at 45°C
The solution is clear when it is fresh and change to blue after used
The solution will generate Oxygen(O2) when etching, it is good to air.
3. Notice:
Don’t heat the solution over 60°C.
Don’t use same container for developing and etching.
