Description
This type of sensor is mostly used in industries. We have to remember two things while using this type of sensor. First thing to remember is that this sensor work on 90-250V AC while the second thing to remember is that we will use this sensor in series connection with the load where the sensor will detect something metal will give signal and the load will be triggered.
This sensor consists of two wires brown and blue. If we want to operate maximum load we will use relay. We does not connect the appliance directly with the sensor because the appliance will draw more current which will flow in the circuit and it may damage the sensor. So we will use relay to prevent the sensor from any damage. Depending upon the load we will use relay if our load is 5A we will use 5A relay better if we use slight a relay that has the rating greater than 5A. The range of this sensor is 8mm and the maximum voltage for this sensor is 250V.

Connecting the Hardware
Connect the brown wire with the live wire and blue wire with the relay. The point 13 and 14 are the supply point of the relay. Connect the blue wire with the point 14. Connect the pin 13 of the relay with the neutral. Connect one end of the light with the neutral wire and other end with the relay pin number 9. Now the circuit connections are completed so when the target will come in front of the sensor the relay will operate. The sensor back light will be turn on and off when a target comes in front of it.
